HILDA BACI’S GUINNESS RECORD BROKEN BY A JAPANNESE CHEF AND RESTAURANT OWNER
Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci has congratulated and accepted the new marathon holder Irish chef Alan Fisher on setting a new Guinness world record for the longest cooking marathon.
Alan Fisher (Ireland), an owner and chef of a restaurant in Japan, recently broke two cooking-related Guinness World Records titles.
Alan claimed the longest cooking marathon (individual) after clocking in a time of 119 hours 57 minutes. That is more than 24 hours longer than the previous record held by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci.
Alan then claimed the longest baking marathon (individual), with a time of 47 hours 21 minutes. The previous record holder was Wendy Sandner (USA) with a time of 31 hours 16 minutes. The previous record holder, Hilda Baci took to social media to congratulate Alan on his incredible accomplishment.

Hilda Baci also expressed her gratitude for being able to hold such a “prestigious” record.
“I’m so happy to have held a record so prestigious and profound I will forever be honored and grateful for all the love and support”, she wrote.
