GHANAIANS SHOULD EXERCISE SOME PATIENTS WITH THE TEAM AS THEY WILL GET BETTER SOON – AGYEMAN BADU

Former Accra Great Olympics and Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is optimistic about the Black Stars chances of improving its form ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 AFCON.

He said this after Ghana’s Men’s National Football Team continues to reel from back to back losses to USA and Mexico in friendly games.

Ghana lost 0-2 to Mexico and 0-4 to USA while delivering poor performances along the way to raising concerns about the Black Stars chances of making a deep run in the AFCON in Cote D’Ivoire.

The Black Stars has been drawn against Egypt, Mozambique and Cape Verde in Group C for next year’s tournament and has 2026 World Cup qualification games against Madagascar and Comoros on November 13 and 21 respectively.

“It’s very worrisome, very troublesome where we are heading to but I’m really optimistic that for what I think has happened in these two games the coach (Chris Hughton) has seen what he needs to do, what he needs to react on.”

“I’m very optimistic that from next month the team will start gelling well and try to do well and if he (the coach) can add a bit of experienced players to the team I think it will help.”
